Within the BIS Finance we are looking for a business information analyst within the finance platform maintenance department you stand at the basis of optimization and changes to our financial
ERP system which you can help shape. For this you work closely with the Finance department of both Aegon Nederland NV and Aegon Group NV.

Position:
We are looking for a business information analyst who can be the link between idea formation and realization. Someone who, on the one hand, is a strong partner for the business and helps to
clearly express wishes and goals. Someone who, on the other hand, can translate these needs into solutions within processes and systems so that the functional application management and
implementation team can get started. You thereby reference the target architecture and look closely at standard solutions that are available within ERP.

You are part of a dynamic and enthusiastic team consisting of functional application managers and developers.

The primary purpose of the function is:
• Performing preliminary investigations to a sufficient level for the realization teams. Supporting these teams with detailed design and implementation.
• Helping the business stakeholders map goals and requirements instead of thinking directly in solutions.
• Map out solution alternatives for products & services, processes and IT.
• Designing desired business processes (business design) and system solutions (functional design) across the different domains and end to end processes.
• Thinking along with, and making proposals to, the business about contemporary, simple solutions where existing solutions are used as much as possible;
• Thinking along with related areas such as security, compliance and legal matters.
• Preparation of Project Start and End Architecture
• Performing the Business Analysis at the start of projects.

Profile
• You have a completed university or higher professional education.
• You have experience in the financial industry.
• You have at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
• You have knowledge of and experience with major financial ERP systems (PeopleSoft, SAP).
• You have knowledge of end to end processes; Source to Pay and Record to Report
• You are customer oriented
• You have proven yourself as a (solid) discussion partner for the business.
• You have skills in giving advice about feasibility and cost / benefit analyzes to the internal organization;
• You are analytically strong, customer-oriented, creative and have excellent problem-solving skills.
