The Expat Professionals B.V. privacy statement applies to all visitors to the website www.expatprofessionals.com. This statement describes which data are collected, recorded and/or stored by Expat Professionals when you visit this website. We also describe what we do with your data, who your data may possibly be shared with and for what purpose. This privacy statement applies to all services provided by Expat Professionals, consisting of recruitment & selection, project-based and regular secondment and secondment with future employer (hereinafter: the services). Expat Professionals ensures that all personal data you provide are treated confidentially and carefully. Expat Professionals complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Purpose of storing personal data
When you apply for a position through our website, register for one of our services or register in any other way, we ask you to provide personal information. These data are used to help us provide our services. We may also collect any information posted by you on public sources that could indicate that you may be interested in a work-related service. In that case, we will approach you and ask you whether you are interested in registering with us. If you are not interested, your personal data will not be stored.
We store all our data in the Cloud. Expat Professionals ensures that other parties with whom your information is shared also comply with privacy regulations. You give Expat Professionals the express permission to use these data to carry out its professional activities. In doing so, we comply with laws & legislation regarding privacy and retention periods. We store data to allow for the adequate provision of our professional services. This includes:
- Linking the supply & demand sides of the labor market i.e. carrying out recruitment, selection and/or secondment activities;
- Time tracking, if applicable;
- Processing salary payments and otherwise, if applicable.
We collect and/or use these data only for their intended purposes. If we want to use the data for other purposes, we will ask permission to do so.
Storing personal data
Expat Professionals stores or may store the following data:
- First name, Surname, Address, Place of residence, Gender, E-mail address and/or Phone number, and CV;
- Depending on the process in question: Diplomas, Personal documents, Copy of ID;
- • Data on Availability, Employment history and Leave;
- Bank account number, if applicable;
- Other matters insofar as they are required by law or have been authorized by you.
Sharing personal data with third parties
Data may be shared with the following parties:
- Bodies that are legally authorized to request personal data
- Companies with which Expat Professionals has a processing agreement;
- Clients looking for suitable candidates. In this case, your CV will be shared, if and only if you have granted permission.
Your personal data will not be shared with third parties other than in the cases mentioned above. If your information is shared internally, our employees are obliged to respect the confidential nature of your data.
Retention period
Expat Professionals will delete your personal data no later than 4 weeks after the end of the application process, unless the candidate has given express permission to retain his or her data for a longer period of time. A suitable position may, for instance, be made available for the candidate at a later date. After a maximum of 1 year after the end of the application process, the candidate will be asked again whether the data may be retained for longer or whether they should be deleted.
Right of Inspection
We offer all candidates the opportunity to view, edit or delete all personal information we have stored insofar as this does not conflict with the legal retention period for this information. If a candidate requests the deletion of all personal information, Expat Professionals will comply with this request within one month. At the candidate’s request, Expat Professionals will provide all personal data of the candidate in question.
Liability
Our website contains links to other websites. Expat Professionals is not responsible and liable for the actions of these websites with regard to privacy. This privacy statement only applies to data collected by this website.
Google Analytics
Expat Professionals uses Google Analytics to track how users use the website and how our website is found by monitoring which keywords are used in different search engines, for instance. We also use Google Analytics to adapt the website to visitor needs. All information obtained is transferred to and by Google, including the visitor’s IP address. For more information and the specific privacy policy for Google Analytics, please refer to Google’s privacy policy. Google uses this information to track how our website is used and to provide us with reports about the website. Google may provide this information to third parties if legally obliged or if these parties process the information on behalf of Google. We cannot influence this.
